Overview of the process
Superior Aircraft Components moves your custom aircraft panel from initial quote through design, production, and delivery as efficiently as possible. The steps below outline how to request a quote, approve pricing, submit a deposit, progress through design, authorize production, and complete final payment for delivery.
Step 1: Request a Quote
Submit a quote request for your panel project. After reviewing your project information, Superior Aircraft Components will prepare and send a quote based on the requested products, options, and services.
Step 2: Review and Approve Your Quote
- Your quote is valid for approval for 90 days from the date it is issued.
- If not approved within 90 days, updated pricing may be required before the project can proceed.
Step 3: Pay the Initial Deposit
- After you approve the quote, an invoice will be issued for a deposit equal to 20% of the total project price.
- Your project is added to the design queue once the deposit has been received.
Step 4: Design Begins
- Design starts approximately two weeks after receiving your deposit, workload permitting.
- During this phase, the team develops your panel design based on the project information and specifications you provide.
- Timely responses and complete information help keep the project moving efficiently.
Step 5: Approval and Production
- After design review and approval, the panel moves into production.
- Production may include machining, finishing, graphics, and other selected services based on the scope of your approved quote.
Step 6: Final Invoice and Delivery
- When your panel is complete and ready to ship, you will receive a final invoice for the remaining project balance and applicable shipping charges.
- The final invoice must be paid in full before shipment.
- Completed projects may also be picked up at the office in Hutto, Texas.
