Q. What planes to you manufacture instrument panels for?

A. We have over 700 aircraft templates and 3000 instruments; if we do not have your plane one of our AutoCAD designers can design it for you.

Q. What is the turn-around-time for my new panel?

A. We will typically ship your panel within a few days of design approval.

Q. What material do you use to make my panel?

A. Your panel will be manufactured from .090 6061 T6 Aluminum for upper panels and .050 6061 T6 Aluminum for lower panels.

Q. Is the print Laser Engraved, Silk Screened, Vinyl stickers or something else?

A. We print your panel using the latest direct print technology, everything is printed directly on the panel, even the most detailed graphics.

Q. What will my panel cost?

A. You can expect to pay approximately $2200 -$2500 for a set of upper panels depending on the options chosen and $2800 – $3500 for a complete set of upper and lower panels. This will include everything from design, cut, powder coating, and printing. (As of 2023)

Q. Can I send my own design to have cut and finished?

A. We offer different levels of service to get you the best panel. We will accept panels that have been CNC cut as long as the .DXF file is emailed and matched the panel; Powder, Print. We will also accept a .DXF file and take it from there; Cut, Powder, Print.

Q. Can you color match?

A. Since we use the highest quality powder and have a special finished process we cannot guarantee colors will match but we can get as close as possible or you can provide us with an RAL code. However we still cannot guarantee an exact color match because most panels sustain fading over time that cannot be matched.

Q. Will I get to see a proof before you manufacture my panel?

A. We will send you a PDF drawing for you to review and approve before we manufacture your new instrument panel. You will receive up to 3 revisions included with your design fee, each additional revision will be $150 added to your final bill.

Q. Will I receive acrylic panels to test fit before final manufacture?

A. Yes, we offer laser cut acrylic panels to test fit your panel for and additional fee of $120 a set

Q. How do I mount my new instrument panel?

A. We suggest you discuss this with your installing AP/IA. Your panel will be shipped without mounting holes so you can get the best possible fit. Our powder coat finish can be safely drilled without damage to the finish. Start with a small drill bit and work your way up.

Q. Will my panel have radio rails installed?

A. We will install all radio rails and other riveted parts before we powder coat and ship you new panel.

Q. What’s the process to get my new instrument panel?

A. The first step is to request a Quote, once you receive a quote for your panel you will be required to approve it and submit a 20% deposit. After your deposit is received we will start designing your new panel. When your panel is ready to ship you will receive your final invoice.
